Museum of Pharmacy
For the PAACE project a few of us decided to go to the pharmacy museum in the castle district. The building itself is history by orginally housing a 15th century alchemist's laboratory. The building was later converted to a pharmacy, and 40 years ago was made into a museum. Their showcases of alchemist equipment, prescription books, and medicine jars were extensive for the 3 rooms the museum consisted of. Being a biochemistry student, this exhibit was phenomenal, and it provided great context and history for pharmaceutical research.

This sounds extremely interesting! I’m curious to how long it was a pharmacy? It would be interesting if it was during WWII because that would directly relate to the hospital in a cave! It would make your pamphlet follow by tying them together!
My favorite part was seeing the picture of the lady whose eyes followed you. But the pharmacy stuff was cool as well. The museum was kind of tiny though.
This sounds like it was a really interesting museum, I wish I could have seen it. Pharmaceutical history is always fascinating to hear more about.
This sounds awesome! Alchemists really interest me because there soul purpose was to find the elixir of life and when they couldn't do that eventually they basically converted to pharmaceuticals so cool
